How do you get to be in the Mylot digest?

I am just wondering. I have posted many discussions on mylot and a few have had over twenty responses. But I dont' believe I have ever had one of my discussions featured in the Mylot digest. To those who don't get it, the Mylot Digest is an email sent to members that has examples of the day's discussions. But how are those discussions chosen? I am just curious. I wonder if I will ever have one of my discussions in there.

The 'hottest' discussion in a 24 hour period in each interest is the one which will reach the daily Digest. If you go to 'hot' topics you can see which discussions are the most active each day. Those will automatically land up on tomorrow's Digest. It is not based on responses but on activity. A discussion with only a few responses but with lots of comments can become the 'hottest' too. If you wish to get your discussion there then you must keep it active by commenting to those who respond and trying to make it interesting so that they and others will return to add more to it. Good luck!

Disagreements can sometimes be fun, especially when the people involved in them have a valid case to state and a great way of getting their point across I hoped you would notice this and we can elaborate it more - it's probably one of the few areas that we have not untangled all the knots yet I base my theory on what I see there every day. On the first page the discussions are from several interests, and the highest one in the list for each interest is the one which reaches the Digest. I think that activity is not the number of responses but keystrokes. Your call

There could be a specific cut-off time and it is the discussions at the top of the 'hot', one for each interest, at that particular time that end up on the Digest?
