Been to the beach yet this summer?

I like to go to the beach with the kids at least once during the summer. We haven't been yet though. I'm still trying to work something out so that we can go for a couple of days. Motel rooms are so expensive anymore. Have you been to the beach yet this summer?

No but I did go to Holiday World, a theme park near me. A group of us girls from work go every year. I never went as a kid, but I go now once a year. And they Are the cleanest theme park I have ever been too. I just wish they had some more coasters to ride. But they have three and a really nice water park. Cheaper than six flags, can't beat it. Unlimited drinks too. So I am okay with skipping trips to the beach.

no,our beaches all have contamination warnings right now.

I have been twice, we went to Venice Beach and watched all the freaks walk around, that was fun. My kids probably saw more weirdos in that 2 mile radius than in all our travels across the U.S.A. We also went to Pismo Beach for Mother's Day, the ocean was pretty cold then but we had fun anyway.

No, i haven't been to the beach this summer. I don't really like to go to the beach anymore. Where i live the sand is hot, the water is cold and the beach is packed with people who leave garbage all over the place, making the whole beach dirty. Its sad really, because the beach is really nice but people can't respect it and keep it clean.
