Can financial problems destroy your marriage??

Yes, financial problems can certainly destroy the marriage. One cannot live on love alone. In the present materealestic world it is not easy to live without money. I have seen many love marriages fail because either the male was not able to get a good job or the female wanted more things from him. That is the real world today.

Hello, I have to say that this could be 50% chance of why a couple do divorce. I feel that if you love the person enough though that you would not let that happen. I have to say that my hubby and I have had been through a lot this past 2 weeks that has even challenged our marriage. 2 shut off notices and late on the rent but we love each other that we work and put our heads together to figure how to get things paid. Guess what we got our rent up to date and the bills payed off because we went and pulled it all together. With now days money gets tighter and tighter and if you let just one thing slip then the rest of the bills,rent, and even medical insurance will follow. But like I said if you love the person enough you will not let anything get in the way not even a mountain. Sorry about the mountain thing but for some reason that is beginning to be my favorite word.

MOney was only one of the reasons that my ex and I divorced. But I'm sure that it has been the main factor of more than one marriage, especially if one person is spending more than they should. And if they have been raised in homes that see money and paying bills differently, there will definitely be problems. That is why they should talk about all of these issues before they get married. Some couples don't talk much about the marriage before they say the words and that is a mistake that can be easily fixed with a little communication.

Yes i think financial problems destroy a lot of marriages as they cause so many arguments.I also think if there were already problems in your marriage this would not help as well as the strain of money worries.I think there are alot of failed marriages what with the stress of work and money.

Yes I believe that financial problems can ruin your relationship. I feel that whenever you're stressed and money is one of the issues you're stressed about it certainly doesn't help the relationship feel like it's going anywhere. If you're stuck at home all the time, barely paying the bills and paying the rent, and you have a partner that is constantly spending money on items they don't need and putting you deeper in debt, there comes a point where you just want to tell them enough is enough and give up. I wouldn't want to stay with someone that was doing nothing but putting me in debt.

love was never complicated, it's the people who's making it complicated... money is power... it's the most primary necessity and because people were empowered by money, definitely, it can ruin any relationship who lacks it...:)
