Have you ever fallen and hit the ground in a dream?

Every time I fall down in a dream, I wake up before hitting the tarmac. The myth is that some of our dreams, bring us into the dream world, and what ever happens to our dream selves in the dream world, happens to us. As I understand it. A very large part of it is believe, if you don't believe you will get hurt in a dream then you won't. But there are people that believe dreams have a very strong power, and their believe gives the power more of an actualization then some one with dis belief. This is my thoughts on the matter, I have never hit the ground, I always have woken up with a sense of vertigo. Sometimes I bounced, I think I might have sleep walked a bit when I was younger. Cheers.
