Abortion or not |
|
I read an article about a girl.. shes only 16yo almost the same age as her BF.. They dont know what to do that time but to abort the baby. So then it was aborted and they went home like nothing happen..
few weeks after the girl feel something very odd inside her body but she just ignore it thinking that its only normal after abortion and for the fact that shes afraid to tell her parents about her condition if they bring her to the hospital, though its getting worst in few more months.. The parents thought that she might just practicing diet like trying to cut food so she will not get fat, as they know that normally teen become conscious of their body.. They even told the girl to stop cutting food coz shes getting thinner.
Just week after that, the girl died.. but before that, they rushed her to the hospital coz she refused to eat and her body didnt accept food anymore.. The doctor said that she have infection and it scattered through her uterus and then to the other part of the body... What can you say about it..

First, I am against abortion... but that is a really long rant that I won't go into here, since that isn't the question. Second, though I am against it, I am also pro-choice. Whether I think it's right or not is irrelevant, because in the end whether they keep the baby, put it up for adoption, or abort it is up to the person who is pregnant and no one else. They have to take a step back and look at their views, their values and their conscience to figure out what is the best option for them. So if someone chooses abortion, it is their choice and I won't hold it against them.
Still, I firmly believe in standing up and taking credit for your actions. Abortion, while a valid option, should not be used simply as a way of avoiding parental punnishments. If you're old enough to get pregnant, you should be old enough to realise the possible consequences of your actions and deal with them responsibly if and when they happen. This includes telling your parents when an accident happens so they can help you deal with it accordingly. This also includes knowing the risks involved in surgeries such as abortions (though I also believe a nurse or doctor should have warned her about them).
She should have known that there was a risk of infection, known that the infection could cause her to die, and realised that her parents possibly punnishing her would be a small price to pay for a hospital trip that would have saved her life.

Mine didn't agree with it at first, but some rebutal is normal and they will eventually come around to the idea. Even if you don't keep the baby there is never a need to abort unless it just come right down to it and it was done naturally through no ones fault of there own will and God done it so to speak. I'm against abortion. I'm a single mother and I had my child at age 22. I wasn't as young, but I had no clue who the father was and I didn't have a job or savings and that is what my mother was most concerned about. But through her help I have been able to raise my little girl and I don't regret it for the world. I wouldn't take back anything because she's been my world and there is no greater feeling.

crysontherocks77 (534) | 5 months ago | well I wouldn't have been able to do it if it wasn't for my mom. She's been there since the beginning. It's hard for parents to see that there child is having a child and so some teenagers dont think that there parents will accept it. It's more common in todays society than most people think. I just hate for the child and that poor girl and there family because she should have atleast been able to sat down with her parents and her parents tell her how they felt about her having a child before she made the decision to abort. I know most teenagers don't think of it that way but you can do it hypothetically speaking and see what there thoughts are about it and then go from there. Ultimately I don't see how a female could do that just because I've done it from a young age by myself with my mom's help and I don't think they should use that as an excuse. 16 is young, but in some countries they marry you off at 11 or 12 years of age. Grant it I don't think thats a good idea, but they obviously see that the woman is mature enough to do that at 11 or 12. Also, 16 is usually the minimum age requirement to be able to work without a permit or anything like that, so in all reality she should have no excuse not to be able to take care of the child or have the child and give up for adoption. There are many families, I know of atleast 2 in my outside family that can't have children. So there are ways than killing a child. I just think the child should be able to make that decision.

3. maximax8 (10509) | 5 months ago | I think that something went wrong with the girl's abortion. I wonder how many weeks pregnant the girl was when she had it done to her. I have heard about quite a few ladies that have died during an abortion like one called Laura Hope Smith that died whilst she had an abortion at 13 weeks pregnancy. The girl you are discussing, the 16 year old, probably had an infection brought on by her abortion. You mentioned that the doctor said the infection spread from her uterus therefore I would say the abortion after effect killed her. A lady that gives birth has a midwife and things can go wrong in childbirth. Things can also go wrong in an abortion or after an abortion. Depression is common, regret is so for many and death for a few.

4. ladybugmagic (410) | 5 months ago | Things like abortion are hard to comment on. It is a very controversial topic, but one that can typically be avoided.
Such as, where was the condom or birth control? Why hadn't their parents taught them about safe sex? It makes sense that if they were not told about safe sex, that they would not be able to confide in their parents about an accidental pregnancy or abortion, or mal effects of an infection.
In my opinion, once puberty hits, and a girl starts ovulating, it is time to have the talk. Perhaps even before then, when you talk about stranger danger.

The day when one comes to know that she is going to have a baby child they must consult their doctor. Dr. will guide for the best solution. If ever Dr. suggest for a abortion undergo with all type of guid line of the Dr.

| 8. freakme6582 (48) | 5 months ago | First, let me just say that I'm not anti or pro abortion. I believe it's the woman's choice to keep or abort her baby. We are not in the position to judge these women because we are just like them. We get scared and confused. We make a choice and we do it. We might regret it after but that's part of life.
I must admit that I have thought of it whenever I'm having a pregnancy scare but I know in my heart that I'll never be able to do it. As for the teenage couple, they should have been more responsible to have the girl checked after the procedure was done. That could have saved her life. They already ended a baby's life, but they made it worse by letting her life end in that way.
