 I have most of the books written by Paulo Coelho and love the stories he tells. They are magical and really make you delve into your own head. My favourite book is Veronica Decides to Die. The story is intriguing and raises many issues that I can relate to. What is your personal favourite? I am interested to know what you think of his works...

Everytime I read his novel, it makes me thing again about everything and I love his writing way! My favorite is "Alchemist". That book gives me courage to reach my dream and struggle to achieve it. Until now, whenever I feel down or wanna give up reaching my dreams, I will remember Alchemist. "..then tell your heart it will be more suffering if you never try" It's a phrase that I remember and affect me so much. I'm not sure my translation is right or not,,
The latest book I buy is "The Witch from Portobello". Do you know his new books?

It is one of those books that can withstand time and I think will be a classic for many years to come. I am currently reading The Zahir and am thoroughly gripped by the obsession and passion to exudes. Have you also read this one? I have not read every book yet, but I will get there! | |

I liked actually the Fifth Mountain most ... but actually I feel ... that it would make a lot of sense if the reader tries to read about The Prophet Elijah in the bible so that he may understand more the person's history and the surrounding circumstances at that age ...
Also some notes about the history of Israel and the kings rules God's people at that age ... the neighboring people and the political relations between them and Israel ... Babel,Phoenicia, etc. ...
I think the Bible and the Bible's Dictionary would really make you understand more about that person, that age and How did God touched His people ...
I feel Paulo Coelho has managed for an amazing imagination for that period in Elijah's life although not mentioned specifically in the Bible ... | |
