I Guess It Was Just A Matter Of Time

We all watched a couple of weeks ago as Jill and Kevin danced down the aisle along with their wedding party. It was an unconventional yet very lively wedding entrance. The first time I saw it, I thought, now that's the way a wedding should be, exciting and happy, not the traditional boring slow paced wedding march we always see. If you haven't seen the wedding entrance video I'm speaking about, then you must have been in seclusion for the last couple of weeks because I saw it all over TV, posted here at myLot at least 6 times, posted on Facebook by no fewer than 3 of my friends. It's been re-created by news anchors, Jill and Kevin along with the actual wedding party re-created the dance on The Today Show, and the video has been viewed over 20 million time on YouTube alone. And now we have this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbr2ao86ww0 Do you like to dance???

So sorry..and I haven't seen the discussions on mylot. maybe it is where I have only been answering mylot discussions from my email inbox..I like to dance..but my body doesn't.. watched the link..it was almost like a music video..lol sad though that the marriage only lasted 6 months..people just don't try hard enough to stay together now days.

Thanks for the other link..appreciate it...Most bride and grooms are so nervous that dancing would be the farthest from their minds before saying I do..but it looked fun and I bet they are a fun couple..

yeah it was just a parody of the original that got so much coverage. I'm sure the real couple are still together and happy. here's the original REAL video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g8DCt3Lmi28

Oh drat---you beat me to it....I came across an article about that "spoof" video and watched it and thought it was hilarious...wonder what the real Jill and Kevin think about it? Maybe divorces SHOULD end like that....LOL

yeah, I saw it on the news yesterday morning and today was a slow day for my myLot posting brain so I looked it up on YouTube.

It's as good a reason to dance as any! As a matter of fact, I reckon it's one of the BEST reasons to start dancing! Given how some divorces turn out, the ex husband's lucky to have been left his legs!

Ahhhhh, coming out of seclusion can be a wonderful thing, Sconi darlin!! Seriously, I hadn't seen the thing!! I know, I know, but I've come out from under my rock and watched both videos and I loved them both! Too funny! Too cool! And a blast to watch. My own wedding wasn't quite like theirs, but it was a lot of fun, with my father-in-law as our pastor, and him making the whole 'audience' join in with us. Gawd, it was so much fun. Makes me wish we had had it videotaped. Darnit. Anyway, thanks for the laugh. Kisses, baby.
