What does the ratings mean in mylot???

Well I was under the impression that the rankings in MYLOT(given by the stars and a number inside it) had no real meaning,in terms of earning.Now today I was having an argument with my friend in mylot that higher rating gets paid more.So I just wanted to know from you guys what the ratings really mean.Plus I also wanted to know if the colours specify anything in particular.I will appreciate any response in this matter.I really want to know this.

Your ratings are what other users have given you in discussions. You either get rated with a positive or a negative. The best way to avoid getting negatives is to not respond to controversial discussions, as those will more than likely cause our ratings to fall. The higher your ratings the more you make. Just contimue what you are doing and you will se your earnings grow. Mine started as a 3 and now I am a 9 so it can be done. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.
