What is your method of gaining referrals on MyLot??  

I have red many discussions regarding this issue and still I am not able to know the exact source of getting referrals. Some of the members are mentioning that getting referral for Paid to post site is much hard and even if we get them , they may not be active. Some are saying getting referrals are much easier to mylot.Still I don't have any referral and of course, I did not try for that so far as I don't have clear idea of that. But most of the members are getting referrals with the help of traffic exchange sites only it seems. You may try in this way.

Getting referrals for MyLot was never a tough job for me. But keeping them active is really tough task. I have about 21 referrals from various countries and all are inactive.

Probably because most of the people signing up have just a basic browsing knowledge. MyLot requires a little bit over that skill, and people leave without finding a way to start.

I am thinking of making a blog with a tutorial with screenshots and then redirect people to mylot.

Hi MagicGuy, when I joined mylot 3 years ago I had 2 referrals who were active for a couple of months and disappeared.i have never tried to gain one after that .I post when I find the time and find an interesting discussion...All the best and have a great weekend

Have you already tried of making a lens in squidoo and promoted it on some other social bookmarking sites like Digg. One method that I've been doing is creating a tutorial and then sharing them with more than 800 social book marking sites and 400 social networking sites. I also even use tube sites and warez forum also traffic exchange and even free ads posting sites. There are useful software that you could use to make this posting easier all you need to do is write the tutorials then the software will automatically promote them to your social networking sites.

Hi MagicGuy, I'm not good in gaining myLot referrals via desktop advertising software for I lack of such knowledge. What I usually do is to introduce the advantages and fun of joining myLot site as member. As english is not our native language therefore I could only rouse the interest of people whom I know could manage to read and write in this language to be my referral.

It's really disappointed and sad that none of them could keep their interest having fun here persistently. A couple of them seemed really hospitable and diligent in writing posts here initially. But they had never turned up anymore after some time I hope I could come across some who have the same interest as me, like to have fun here frequently during leisure time
