how long you don't take a bus

it all depends on u cindyhxf..since high school im using bus only.and buses here in the morning are too crowded.sometimes icant even manage to shift my feet..i don'y know how crowded are the buses in your place.but if u have any other alternative go for it,unless u don't have a problem with bus..
to avoid crowd try,changing buses in between..it works sometimes...or if u hav any colleagues near by why not go for pooling

Bus is the main public transportation here. However, everyday I go to work and go home on foot. So I don't take the bus everyday. Usually I will take a bus once a week when we go out in weekends.

i catch a bus, then connecting train, and another train to get to work, and in total it takes me around 2.5 hours one way. What a waste of time hey... but i cant afford to buy car yet, because im still paying for my school fees, sad sad sad.. so most of the time i will just be falling asleep, its very dangerous i think.. but i cant help myself..

i used to take a bus not for work though, for my college... everyday i used to spend 2 hours, only in the bus, go 1 hour and return 1 hour... it could be very boring at times, but i always managed it.... yeah sometimes it could be crouded and all ... but it helps decrease the pollution and is always an option you have when you don't have any other source of transport.

I have a shuttle bus for my work everyday and I nearly at office and home from Monday to Friday. But in weekend, I always take the bus for go out. I haven't bought private car because that here is a serious problem for park it in our city.

Morning, cindy. I usually take a bus when I travel from city to city, but if I stay in the same city, I usually take a city bus or ride my own bike. I don't have to take a bus to work as I live on campus, which is very convenient to me. It is only a few minutes' walk from my apartment to the school building. Take care, friend.

fortunately, i lived in our company's hostel,it is very nearby the main office where i worked,i always walk form my apartment to office nearly ten minuter,so i don't need to take a bus every day, but on the weekend, when i have something to buy or have special events to do, i have to take a bus, it is very crowd at all. good luck and have a nice day!

Hi cindy, I prefer to take express bus if the journey is more than 5 hours for a single destination only. It’s really inconvenient to drive to the mountain resort as we have outdoor activities in the vast space of the resort area only.

My husband and I visited the famous local mountain resort in the 2nd of June. We had spent our 5 days vacation there happily Happy time always passes extremely fast. We had to leave for our home by the air con express bus in the afternoon of the last day then.

Due to the spreading of swine flu we haven’t had any local vacation at the moment. Yeah, we never travel by bus for more than a couple of months. The risk would be high if travelling with so many passengers together in a confined public transport for several hours

Hopefully the flu situation would become better very soon. I then could enjoy having journey by bus again.
