For our readers in the United States, you may or may not have heard about "At Will" employment. At Will employment was originally intended to protect both non-contract employees and employers in the event should either wish to terminate the employment. However, in most (But NOT all) states this means that an employer can terminate the employment for any reason they desire, as long as the employee doesn't fall into a group of people protected by Equal Opportunity laws. They can terminate you because they don't like your counsin's sister's uncle, or because they don't like it that you don't wear make up - and most states have no legalities that prohibit this. Do you think that At Will employment is a good idea?
