What's your favorite Japanese dish and dessert? Do you usually buy it or spend time in the kitchen cooking and baking it?

My favorites are tanbula (a kind of fried shrimp), sushi roll and sikiaki (a kind of beef hot pot, which tastes a little sweet.)
I will go to Japanese restaurant for buffet if I want Japanese food. Because I cannot cook Japanese dishes!

I want to try Sikiaki just because I like my food to have a blend of sweet and savory.

Really? That's great! I think some dishes in Suzhou may be fit for you!

My favorite Japanese dish is unagi sushi and my favorite Japanese dessert would be ice cream mochi. I usually eat it when I go out to restaurants but sometimes my mother would buy home some unagi and packaged ice cream mochi and it would be just like eating at a restaurant.

Yum, I'm craving some Green Tea ice cream at the moment and some Miso soup.
