What are your top three favorite songs and why?  

It's tough to choose since I have a lot of favorites but I'd just choose the best ones. here are my top three:

1. Time of my life by Greenday - this is just an inspiring song and one of the best to come out during the 90s. So nostalgic!
2. Crash into me by Dave Matthews Band - ahh, the lyrics of this one is very well-written, i wish i'd be able to write something like this. and very cool melodies too!
3. Yellow by coldplay - i mean, who doesn't like coldplay? i have lots of favorites from the band but this one is my classic choice!

1.) "Art of Life" by X Japan. I love how the whole composition is arranged, and the lyrics are gorgeous. It's a postmodern masterpiece. Also, it kind of reminds me of myself. Toshi's vocals are excellent; you can really feel the emotions in them.

2.) "Doing the Unstuck" by The Cure. I don't know, I guess it's just my "get-up-and-dance" song.

3.) "Memphis Skyline" by Rufus Wainwright. He wrote it about Jeff Buckley, and it is one of the saddest (but most beautiful and sentimental) songs I've ever heard. Amazing. I half-wish it never had to be created, that Jeff Buckley hadn't died... but it is what it is, and it really is a phenomenal song.

1. Crash Into Me by The Dave Matthews Band.. Not really sure why.. something just surreal and moving about the melody and the sound of his voice..

2. Jesus of Suburbia by Green Day (including the subsongs)... I love the music itself.. the rhythym is quite appeasing to me and it rather sums up the story of my life lol

3. Hallelujah by The Guitar Buddies (aka Askil Holm, Espen Lund, Alejandro Fuentes, and Kurt Nilssen)... Hearing their cover of this Leonard Cohen classic is just stunning... This quartet sounds almost heaven sent and I actually get chills every time I hear Kurt Nilssen sing his solo.

I have way to many favorite songs so to narrow it down would almost be impossible but right now I am still partial to Realize, Boom Boom Pow & Single. Two of the 3 are for personal reasons (Realize & Single).

Hmmm....my top 3 favorite -
1. Take Me to Your Heart - MLTR
I really like this music, the first time I heard it, was in a Mandarin song by Jackie Cheung, and it was very catchy. When MLTR came out with the English version, it was even better, as I could understand the words!
2. Baby, Can I Hold You - Boyzone
This song melts me literally; whenever I hear it, I would relax, slow down whatever I'm doing and just listen.
3. You Win Again - Bee Gees
This is really a classic - don't really know how else to describe it!

this is really hard to narrow down but i think I've got it 1.hurt (Trent Reznor)- i can listen to this song for hours on end 2.flying teapot (The Seatbelts)- really you just have to hear this one for yourself 3. minority (Greenday)- it get's stuck in my head for hours and i cant help but sing it all day.

1) Iris - Goo Goo Dolls - I don't know why, but this song just gets me everytime. The lyrics are beautiful and the music is also soothing.

2) What Goes Around.. Comes Around - Justin Timberlake. The classic JT. The song clearly explains what happens when you treat anyone bad. It comes back to you and in real life as well. So to reality

3) Lose Yourself - Eminem. This is my fav song because it kinda represents me when I was a teenager. Rash and idiotic. Taking stupid decisions.

1. another world- phill collins(Tarzan)
an excellent song....the lyrics are very nice, telling about a human in the jungle first time seeig another human that is a girl and falling in love and his relationship with both of his kind, that is human and the gorrilas..

2.so yesterday- hillary duff...
i like this song very much...i often listen to this song..

3.hologram- back street boys "this is us" ...latest from BSB...i like their music and i have decided to keep this song as my favourite..

My top 3 songs are:True by Spandou Ballet,Baby Come Back by The Player,and I've Been Waiting For You by Guys Next Door.Why?Because TRUE the instrument mostly playing in this song is the lead guitar which has a good plucking of guitar and the sound of this it feel so good and romantic.Second one is BABY COME BACK because using of drums is perfectly nice,you can feel the emotions here.And lastly I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU because i always remember my childhood crush wayback 90's every time i hear this song.I listen into different genres depends to my mood.

Hi Jlamela,Through time I've amassed quite a number favorite songs. But if I have to choose only 3, they are the following:

1. Because You Love Me by Celine Dion - this was sang during my wedding, and what made it special was it was my sister who sang it
2. Bring Me To Life by Evanescence - not that I feel like dead, but because I like the music, and Amy Lee is just a terrific singer
3. Heal the World by Michael Jackson - need I say more? The song expresses everyone's desire to have a better world
