Imagine if matrix in real life

Well if the Matrix was implemented in real life, it'd be quite a site at least from a scientific point of view. While your case wasn't too descriptive it does open up the discussion.

Who created this Matrix. If it was advanced A.I. (aka Singularity effect as seen in 2nd Renaissance) then the worries for humankind connected to the Matrix would be threefold. The first problem is the machines need to experiment on humans to see how they function and how to properly manipulate them (aka false visual-auditory-tactile production to simulate "real" and various effects of the new reality).

The second problem is the machines having to configure the Matrix itself as a reality for the humans; it would have to be one the humans would be least likely to rebel or reject. The story as told by Smith and confirmed by the Architect is the first Matrix was a peaceful world of no suffering - it was unbelievable to the humans inside and they rejected the Matrix and most assuredly disposed of. This problem continues as the machines configure the second Matrix as a horrific world - again rejected by the humans.

A third problem in this school of thinking is the difficulty of leaving the Matrix. In terms of story canon Zion is just a control proxy of the machines (a way to keep any 1-2% of people who reject the Matrix in check.) But if there is no Zion or anything similar setup by the machines to help the rebels function on the outside, then escaping the Matrix would be an instant death sentence. There is no Neb to rescue anyone who escapes the Matrix/Power-Plant Towers; no reliable source of food or clean water (given the environment of the movie); no hope. Assume the opposite of this, that the world wasn't destroyed but all the other parts of the Matrix exist. In this case a person may still die being dumped from the power-plant, they could also die due to the lack of physical capacity people connected to the Matrix have (Neo had atrophy when he was freed and required muscle rebuilding).

Incidentally, a human made Matrix would also cause the problems described above, at least in varying capacities. A human made Matrix could in fact be far worse than a machine made Matrix. Even with technology human thinking still has its limits. In the movie, some of the machines thought they may have lacked the programming to make a suitable world for the Matrix. Humans are more likely to make mistakes and it would show up in their attempts at the Matrix.

One possibility could be that the humans make a fully interactive simulation and it works just fine, but at the same time it could have side-effects on the residents (maybe the human Matrix makes you completely blind in real life).

Another possibility is lack of proper maintenance of the Matrix which leads to glitches. This is covered in an Animatrix episode, but I could easily see it as a common happening in a human Matrix. Just think of the technology we use and how it is subject to various glitches and errors (Windows... -_-). But at least humans, even "unenlightened" humans could end up acting like Morpheus in ability or even Neo. Of course one only need imagine the current world being glitch to understand why it would be a double-edged situation. Gravity could stop working allowing people to fly but in certain areas its still working and poor fools are dragged down to their deaths (well maybe some administrators might save you like Tank saved Neo in the simulator, but it'd be a longshot when factoring numbers). A related issue is possible widescale destabilization or a whole crash as mentioned by the Architect. A crash would kill all humans in the Matrix, not a pleasing thought if the real world was the Matrix.

A third glaring issue with a human Matrix is its use. What would it be used for? It could be a prison and that would be a frightening thought if the real world really was this Matrix. On the other hand, it could be an alternate reality, perhaps for entertainment, maybe even medicine (mental health). A brain-dead or quadriplegic could be hooked into this Matrix and allowed to live an unrestrained life within it. In either case, when would we as a society say using this was enough or too far? There could be a scenario where the human Matrix is much more appealing than the real world and humanity eventually withdraws into it. It could be programmed to user specifications, maybe people get "home" versions of the Matrix where its private and fully customizable. Such a thing would be incredibly hard to refuse outright. Hmm, perhaps all the humans would choose the Matrix in one capacity or another and none would be able to break free of it.
