Elements in reading.  

A few people I have know enjoy scrutinizing and criticizing every part and sentence of a book. A few people yet enjoy reading a book thoroughly, rendering their book an odd and dirty maze full of pencil marks. Some just superficially go through the book and tend to only the plot. Many people also like to put themselves in the character's circumstances and they thus judge the characters emotions. I have also known many who just read a book just to show off. Such as some one who is reading 'Mein Kamf' without knowing about fascism. This is embarrassing when you get caught. lol. What are the major elements you see in a book while reading it? Do you see its plot, or background, or the circumstances of various characters? Or do you let yourself be carried away by the symphony of all the elements of the book. (I agree that it is much more fun in the later way). I also would appreciate you to discuss what aspect of your most favorite book do you like the most?

The book I enjoyed the most is perhaps "Sherlock Holmes" by Sir Aurthur C. Doyle. I very much appreciated by the cool and genius attitudes by which Sherlock H. solves mysteries and leaves everyone stumped. There was also a villian named Professor Moriarty, an evil genius whom Holmes stakes much to subdue.
