Bored or Burned out?

I'm currently in the verge of resigning. I'm no longer motivated and the only thing that keeps me up and working is the compensation. I have friends at work and we boost each others morale every now and then but end up getting kind of frustrated in the line of work we have. Most of us think that it is the company who is lacking the motivating factors to stir us up. Yet I see the company's effort to motivate their employees. They give out bonuses and incentives. Is it only that I am bored or is it because I already need growth in my workplace. By the way, my work revolves around a headset and a computer. I work for a call center company and our clients are health care providers to whom everyday we receive complaints on how badly our company handles their claim concerns. I don't know maybe I'm kind of tired hearing them out and getting frustrated that you can't do anything about their concern except the only things you can to ease up claiming their payments.

I've worked at call centre two years ago, and I don't want to work there again. The pay is good, but I need a lot of patients dealing with various custtomers. When they get angry with the products, they call the centre and start venting out theri anger. There are some good customers, but the work really tiring me inside and outside. But it a great feeling because that's my first real job. But before you resigning, have you consider all the possibilities? Have you found other job? Do you have other responsibilities, like paying bills and loan? It hard to find job nowadays, but if really made up your mind, then you need to go with it. Good luck to you

Thanks! I really need all the luck to get going. Right now, I haven't found another job. Yep, the pay is good but will really need a lot of patience and a tough heart to accept all the things that goes with this high pay. I wanted a job that is not much like a call center. I want a real job though it pays little. But so far the only job offers I get are also from other call centers. I would not want to resign and start another call center profession. Thanks for responding and happy mylotting!
