Dinosaurs Alive! |
|
Yesterday, my nephews were here and we talked about the ice age movie. They keep on asking what animal was Sid *researched it and found out he's a sloth* Then the topic went to Dinosaurs. I told them that dinosaurs are not for real and just mere bones when discovered by Archaeologists. So i asked my siblings if i were correct about what i said to the kids. They were shocked and told me that i was so stupid not to believe in dinosaurs. Dinosaurs are proven by Scientist long long time ago. But i was like: "Well, they just discovered the bones and not really saw one. And besides, what they discovered where just bones. It might be a bone of some other animal." So i ended up reclaiming what i have just said *bugger*.
So what about mylotters perspective? Do you think dinosaurs really existed without really seeing one in person *movies not counted*?

2. coolcat123 (3490) | 5 months ago | Dinosaurs have totally extinct from this world and the reasons are we humans. I not blaming to the going on generation but our fore fathers or ancestors. But that time they had no other option to be safe and living. Bones...eggs etc are being found but this only proves that they did exist at some era of time but now nothing can be done for them instead we can do much for saving many endangered species. So that atleast there existence would not remind us about these dinosaurs.

Forensic Science has matured over years(probably inspired by CSI.) What my problem actually is convincing my kids the they are long gone dead millions of year ago because movies and tv shows about dinosaurs are so realistically alive.

6. Iriene88 (1181) | 4 months ago | Dear koalapenguin,
Millions of years ago, long before there were any people, there were dinosaurs. Dinosaurs were one of several kinds of prehistoric reptiles that lived during the Mesozoic Era, the "Age of Reptiles."
There were lots of different kinds of dinosaurs that lived at different times.
* Some walked on two legs (they were bipedal), some walked on four (they were quadrupedal). Some could do both. * Some were speedy (like Velociraptor), and some were slow and lumbering (like Ankylosaurus). * Some were armor-plated, some had horns, crests, spikes, or frills. * Some had thick, bumpy skin, and some even had primitive feathers.
My son loves dinosaurs, he was so excited when we borught him to the Museum of Natural History in New York and London. He just love those dinosaurs...these museum have the reals dinosaurs bones on display! It Is REAL. Attached is a dinosaur photo that I snapped at Everland Theme Park in South Korea!
All the best and do keep in touch!
