My best friend came back from vacation and didn't call me

This is the summer before my first college and final chance to hang out with my old friends. This summer is also important to a friend of mine because she can go on vacation to visit her boyfriend. I'm happy for her even we don't get to hang out for 2 months. I assume we could make up the time when she comes back but today a friend of mine saw her walking down the street. She came back and didn't even bother calling me!! 
I've known this girl for 8 years and I'm leaving soon. Why?!?! Can anyone relate?

That's very sad..to know that the one you knew for eight years seems to have set aside or simply didn't think much priorities with seeing friends. Stay Calm, it happens, when friends don't come when you wanted to.I always known, people change and they don't seem to be happy and excited when ever a friend is around..or maybe she just forgot? did you called her? hope you don't burst on your the next you see her.

May be she has not settled after the return still.It takes time for somebody to accommodate themselves after a long leave.She may be getting ready and collecting new things for her next year in college.So she might have forgot you for the time being.So,don't run into hasty decisions and contact her by yourself.I think she will welcome you nicely.Cheers!
