do u think titanic film was made in a real sea or just a fiction?

they have a miniature version of the titanic and some of the scenes in the boat were replicas of the original ship.

Part of the scenes were shoot in a small pool of water were the miniature titanic was made to sink.

Don't worry there are no lives lost in the making of the film.

No, i think that the movie was shot in a artificial ocean. There were lots of safety measures adopted by the producer and director. This could be one of the reason that the movie was so costly.
Infact it they have used the actual ship in the studio.The construction of the ocean began in fox baja studio on may 30, 1996 on a 40 acre beach front parcel of a land.

They actually had a 'how the film Titantic was filmed' show on tv right after the movie came out. They made a huge vat type thing that held part of a replica of the ship. The vat that held the water was on a tilt-type thing that made the waves and all. It looked sooooo realistic, didn't it?! After seeing how they made the film in bits and pieces, I think I enjoyed seeing how they made it, as much as the film itself.

A fiction, but it seems like real. The people behind this film are great. The scene is very amazing once you've discovered that behind the film itself is a great production and animation.

It was filmed in a huge tank, the water was real, a good amount of the people tho were computer generated - far shots for example.

the seens were shot in the studio and then they were mearged with the computer graphics. and to shoot the final shots, thy used a model to ge the accurate scintific figure for there CG and then the whole thing was shot on computer.
