Cisco's Certification  

I'm taking up Cisco's CCNA once again. Actually, I took up the course once again because Cisco changed their examination from 640-801 to 640-802. I really want to be Cisco certified so I decided to take up the whole course once again. Well, anyway, Cisco's certifications are one of the best and most respected IT certifications in the world. Because Cisco is one of the leading and the most used IT equipments (routers in particular), the opportunities that await Cisco certified personnel is great. Also, having a good background on Cisco routers gives one some good edge in terms of networking in general. Cisco certification's reputation is so high in the IT field.

I actually have two cisco certifications: CCNA and CCIP. I recommend to try this certtifications, or at least CCNA, to anyone that works in the IT field. The courses related with the certifications will give you a deep background of networking, and know, networking is everywhere!!

I just finished Sem 1 & 2 of discovery not that long ago. How well do you think that prepares me for the CCENT certification exam? Has anyone taken the CCENT and if so how difficult is it? My goal is to get my CCENT then my CCNA by the end of the summer.

I am still taking up the CCNA sememster 1. Is the exam really though? If I study hard and read everything again and again, will it still be hard? >_<

I really want to take the CISCO certification but I don't have any preparation yet. Maybe I need to have some training and enroll for CISCO training before I take the certification exam. I quess I take CCENT exam first before becoming CCNA.
