Two-wheeler or Four Wheeler ? |
| |
| Which do you find convenient to use for your outdoor activities? I feel that to ride a two wheeler is more easier during shopping or any of our activities as we can ride it through narrow lanes to avoid traffic signals and reach our destination fast. My husband is always hesitates to drive the car, particularly when we go shopping during peak hours, as we have to stop at a number of signals and we do not get a proper parking space near our shopping area. Sometimes we have to park the car at a far distance and walk all the way to a shopping complex. What do you feel? Have you felt mad waiting at signals and thought you should have avoided coming by car? | | | | | |

| | I prefer a two wheeler to a four wheeler when traveling in the city limits. Though four wheeler is much more comfortable than a two wheeler, you have to spend more time waiting in the busy roads. Unlike in two wheelers its not possible to drive through narrow roads. So you end up spending a lot of time waiting in the traffic than traveling. However for long drives a four wheeler is better as it doesn't strain you much. | | | | | | |

| | I am using two wheeler. I feel two wheeler is more convenient in heavy traffic place like Bangalore. When i drive a car here i was felt very bad. Because i was in a situation where i waited in a signal for more than 25 mins. Whereas two wheeler i can ride in a such a away that i will be in able to avoid traffic. | | | | | | |

| | Yes of course and in cities like Bangalore although it is a prestige to own a car, to use it is very difficult and that too in the traffic. Thanks for your response.Good day to you. | | | |

| | Yes me too. While we have work in the city it's very inconvenient to use four wheelers. The main problem is traffic and second one is parking. We can't find a parking place near the spot where we have to go.In the case of these are eliminated. | | | | | | |

| | Yes the parking is the main reason to avoid taking a four wheeler, that way a two wheeler is the best. Thanks for your response. good day to you. | | | |

| | The roads are not adequately wide for the quantum of vehicular traffic in a country like ours. So using a four wheeler simply does not make sense. The slow moving car burns more petrol, and increases the discomfort within the car, even when the airconditioner is on. Car needs more room for manouvering and simply cannot snake through like two wheeler can. In any event, I never understood what is the need to buy a car other than protecting self from heat and rain. The high powered engines and all that stuff is waste in a country like ours, where the traffic in the city is rarely above 40 kmph. Of what use is a vehicle that achieves speeds like 120 kmph. As u pointed out, parking is a problem. | | | | | | |

| | I totally agree with you, a four wheeler is not of much purpose other than decorating the car porch now a days. The traffic control is very bad too and as you say we can hardly move over 40kmph. A two wheeler is the only rescue for this. Thanks for your response, good day and good luck to you. | | | |

| | I prefer driving a two-wheeler than a four wheeler. This is when i'm driving. But when i trvel with other people, i would prefer a our wheeler (wheer the other person drives the vehicle). As you said, 2 wheeler is convinient while shopping and while traveling through tricky lanes. It is the quickest means of transport i should say. On the other hand four wheelers give the rider a status mark - other than the huge bill he/she has to bear for the maintenance of the vehicle :) | | | | | | |

| | Although the driver of a four wheeler gets a status he gets wild waiting in the traffic where he cannot exceed his speed above a maximum of 40 kmph and this makes driving mad. Yes when we travel long distances and are in a group it is fun. But it is the two wheeler that serves most of our purposes. Thanks for your response. | | | |

| | I think two wheeler is good for shopping because parking is a big issue now a days. Parking for four wheeler charges more than a two wheeler. If you want to go to some place in a hurry, go for two wheeler because it can go through small gaps in case of traffice jams. If I am going for a relaxed travel, I will prefer four wheeler because it gives a security feeling compared to a two wheeler, two wheeler is a little more risky compared to a four wheeler. | | | | | | |

| | Exactly, I have to learn that trick. I am embarassed to say that I don't know to ride a two wheeler. My husband is fed up training me on how to ride a bicycle. I can't keep the balance. I think I need to put a lot more effort and learn it. Thanks for the comment. | | | |

| | I generally prefer two wheeler as its very easy to use in some cases like traffic, slip roads, easy to part. Two wheelers are like plug and play. If we talk about four wheelers they are good for long and family outdoor activities. The biggest problem I generally found with my Pajero is parking. Both have their benefits but i still go for two wheelers. Fast and easy. | | | | | | |

| | I would rather have a four wheeler since it has even amount of wheels. It would be less likely to flip over. | | | | | | |

But now want to experience 4wheelers too - planning to buy my first 4wheeler soon. | | | | | | |

| | I would choice two-wheeler because of its portable size, you don't have to worry about the heavy traffic jam,can be driven even if the the path is stiff or narrow, don't consume much fuel, gives better mileage, and it is very easy to park because it does not consume much space,in my place everyday there is a heavy traffic jam to deal with and many people complaining about not reaching the office in time,I think travelling by car is a waste of time,so I guess two wheeler is the best solution for these situations..... | | | | | | |
