You can be positive. They want a good employee so make a good first impression. Eye contact is always important. Don't act desperate. Don't talk too much about your family, if at all.Don't act desperate. Have I mentioned not to act desperate? Hahaha It has been so long I can't recall much. Good Luck!

thanks celticeagle how do you not act desperate when i am. lol. for work that is. i tell them i would be available immediately. i ask them when they are looking for someone to fill the position. i ask if it would be a long term job. i ask what the actual job entails. am i doing something wrong? this must all sound desperate right. lol. well hopefully someone will be nice and give me that great job. lol thanks again for your comments.

Interview them back. Make it sound like you are looking for the cream of the crop, and that will impress upon them that you are not desperately searching for a job, and give an air of confidence. Maybe have your resume professionally written, dress nicely, have great fun and tact in the interview, but make it sound or try to imply that others are already interested in you, but don't go overboard. Make them want to fight for you.

thanks for the advice. this is why i was asking cause i dress nicely sometimes i guess i over dress. some interviewers are really nice and down to earth while others just are really moody. i am a good worker and a hard worker. as others are on the internet at work i seem to want to find things to do for the job. like help were ever i can. maybe i over do it and make others think i am trying to make them look bad. thats not it at all. i just like keeping busy and when it has to do with work i think i should be doing something productive like working and not playing around. maybe i am nerdy. lol. i just dont understand how someone who is a hard worker cant find a really decent job. its great to say about how others are interested at the interview. actually i did mention this and well i think it was a bad thing cause then the lady was like well if you have something in line then why do you bother coming for this interview. i guess i am just not doing something correctly. i am too truth full and to down to earth for people. again thanks for your help. talk to you again soon ladybugmagic.

Hello mylotter, When you have to attend theinterview with a certain company try to have a thorough knowledge about their product, their need etc. Before atttending the interview make sure that your profile meets all their requirement. Meet then with confidence. Never tell a lie which you cannot suppport later.Try to impress them about how you are the most suitable person for their requirement. Happy mylotting and best of luck
