That's what the funeral employee told the widow when she said it wasn't her husband in the coffin. Despite the fact that the man was shorter and had a darker complexion, she insisted that the man wearing her husband's suit WAS her husband and implied through her tone that there was something wrong with the widow and her daughter. Throughout the viewing, people were whispering how the man they'd just viewed didn't look a thing like the man they remembered. AFTER the viewing was when the funeral director took the family aside and told them that there had been a mistake. They had sent her husband's body to another funeral home owned by the same company for a different funeral. And, here I thought the funeral home taking my father-in-law to the wrong cemetary while half the mourners went to the right one was bizarre!! Wait until you see how they brought him back!! http://www.philly.com/philly/news/20090819_Beloved_husband___dad_is_mourned__but_it_s_not_his_body_in_the_casket.html?nlid=2532772 What this funeral company goes beyond disgraceful! They showed utter disregard and disrespect for both the deceased and his family. How would you react in this situation? Would you hire a lawyer? Would you want to press charges against them? Do you think they should still be in business? Do they even deserve to be? I don't think so. Tell me.

No way would I be ok with this.... you bet I would be making calls all over the place. If I had brought it to their attention and gotten brushed off like a little nat... that would have been enough for me, but then all the rest... too much. That poor family.

It's just disgusting, isn't it? And, there's no word negative enough to describe their behavior~

We should make one up and put over on Irish's latest discussion. I'll think about it.

THAT sounds like something that should show up in a Stephanie Plum novel!

I've seen her name, but am not familiar with her work. Is she a mystery writer?
