Does controvery seem to follow you?

Do you try to do the right thing for the moment, only to be gossiped about, slandered, or in some way having to defend yourself?


As an example: I had lost weight through determination and reading 'fat' content on food labels. During a lunch hour break a co-worker asked me about my weight loss. I was happy to expound on the skinny virtues of reading the 'fat' labels when another worker interrupted and accused me of calling her fat. She frequently ate at fast-food restaurants.


For weeks on end, all the 'overweight' co-workers were scowling at me because I had the determination to lose weight and they did not. At least that's the way it seemed.

This is just one time when I felt I was not being treated fairly just because I was making every effort to conquer the pounds. I had no intention of insulting anyone.
