| Tail Light Problems  | | | |  Ok so our left rear tail light is out. I bought a new bulb for it and it worked for about a day but then it went out again. Don't know what the problem could be. Guy at the dealership said it wouldnt' be a fuse. They want like $100 to fix it without even knowing what's wrong. We got pulled over twice in a week cause of it and now we have 10 days to fix it and we have to go to the station to prove it's fixed. Any ideas on what this could be and is it easy to fix? Also when I took the old bulb out there was a lot of rust or gunk inside if that makes a difference.

| |  It could be a bad connection because of the rust inside. You could try sanding it down or cleaning it out before trying a bulb that you know works. Or it could be a loose wire connection somewhere. When the indicator on my vehicle started to play up I noticed that it would work for a bit and then stop but if I wiggled the wires that connected to it (very technical jargon!) I could get it work again. Then I was able to tape it in place temporarily until I could get to the garage. Either of these might not work but it's maybe worth a try rather than spending $100 just for them to look! Hope you get to the cause of the problem.

| |  it sounds like You have a leak or a short which is causing it to blow out. get the light dry and make sure it has a seal.
Good luck..electrical problems are the worse
