Don't you hate to try to figure out those mind game?

Sometimes, women do try to play mind game with the person they like. For instance, To get your attention, they might do something to get you mad. nitpicking on your small mistakes, or making fun at you, etc...... At the first impression, you might think that girl must hate you a lot. Ironically, she might just want you to pay attention to her; or she simply like you a lot. That is why she made all those efforts. The thing I don't understand is, why not they just simply said "I like you", or something like that. Instead of go around circle and giving you a hint to figure it out. Have you ever experienced something like that, a mind game to play?
