Have you ever had power to make a revenge but you won't do it?

Once I ever had a very bad experience. At that time, I was still single and didn't have a job. My relatives used to mock me because of my condition. All I did was keep quiet and tried my best to seek a better life. Now, I had a nice job and family. One of my relative who had insulted me came to my home and asked my help. At that time, a glance of anger came across me, I thought that this is the right time to make a revenge by not giving her help. But, only a few second, in reality, I couldn't do that. She needs help and I can't leave her in her misery. I should help her. And, I think revenge is not a good solution to make my life better. So, I think if I have a power to make revenge it doesn't mean that I brutally use that power to make other suffer. What do you think?
