Cheap, and diesel - burning vehicle will be soon enough to market in the U.S., especially those India - made vehicle called Nano, you pretty already heard of it. Other than Japanese - made vehicles and Korean - made vehicles, or other European Brand name, how confident are you in willing to give it a shot on India - made vehicle with a price probably around $5000 - $6000, brand new vehicle? Or you rather stick with the old brand name, which you have more confidence with?

i would give it a go TATA is a good brand to trust and has authorized service centers all ove the country and the spare parts are quite cheap
but i feel these cars need lot of maintenance , due to use of cheap spare parts
i would give them a try
the indian vehicle is about 2200$ only
so i think u can spend it from ur pocket , and wont hesitate so much to get it

Hi,
I am from India. I understand that this question is probably for people in the states but I could give you my own feedback on the Nano :)
I have seen this car in action when I went to buy my car (not the Nano, the bookings were not open then). If I had a choice, I would have waited for a few months and bought the Nano instead of the other car.
The Nano offers the best possible features and a cheapest possible price tag. It would be a better car to drive on the crowded City roads and through huge traffic. Its a smaller car but with big space inside. Very much maneuverable through tight spaces.
This is a big leap from Tata Motors. I am sure this car will rock in India as well as in the markets abroad. Its the concept of a small and cheapest car brought in reality.
Go for a test drive whenever :)
