Hello,I have a few questions that want to ask everyone here about comuputer spyware. I dont have this program called, PC Antispyware 2010 but i have virus scan and Spyware Doctor.
Since yesterday, I kept on getting a warming said my computer is infected and I have to click on PC Antispyware to scan. So, I did scan the spyware doctor, virus scan and nothing came up. I deleted all cookies and internet history and everything but this note is still pop up. So, I decided to click on PC Antispyware 2010 then it asked me to register and of course it will cost me if I say YES.
I want to know if my computer is already clean up, does this antispyware still treating me? and it still keep saying my computer is infected but I can't find anything at all. Does it just ask me to update the software?that's it? lolz....
Thank you, cuz I tried everything but this stupid thing won't stop popping up.

Hi friend,
It is not a virus neither a spyware , according to me it is just a publicity stunt. Some cheap market antivirus companies does that to sell their product. Even if you download it, it does a scan on your system and find some spywares too. And demands you to buy the product so that you can clean your system. :(
I recommend Never buy such product. Better to do googling for the error arriving and try to remove it manually.

Hi friend,
there are a lot of sites which offer free scanning facilities but all of them require to download their software to your system to scan as free.
www.pandasoftware.com/activescan
www.virustotal.com
www.kaspersky.com/scanforvirus
www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie.html
www.solarwinds.com/main/virusscan.php

Fake antispywares sometimes disguise as antispyware but actually it won't remove any spyware in your computer but actually installs more spywares. But Spyware doctor is a legitimate spyware scanner and remover from PC Tools. I previously had spyware doctor in my computer but it was heavily using my system resources that's why I just uninstalled it.

this is one rogue antispyware that's been bugging of the "top" antivirus company.
sometimes, the spyware that it detects are the possible files that it dropped when you installed it.
to verify if it's still "haunting" your computer, download and install Trend Micro's Hijackthis.
once you've finished running the program, it'll generate a log file.
copy-and-paste the log file (or attach the file) to http://www.hijackthis.de
this's give you the the information if you're computer free from any the rogue antispyware.

Hello, thank you for responding to my discussion. I actually fixed it already and this stupid spyware itself has it own threat to my computer. I got it all out... it just asked me to buy them and then all they did is delete their own cookies... lolz.
I think cuz I went on too much on movie site or something that is why I got them.
