People are unique, and we each have our own way of coping or finding an outlet when our bodies or minds are just full of too much energy or too many thoughts to relax or function the way we want to.
What are the ways you personally have found to let out or use up excess physical or mental energy?

Yes, mylot is good for taking the mind of troubles or for expressing oneself, learning...and all sorts of things. The computer IS a true blessing, and yes, especially for those of us who cannot get out and about very often :)
Hugs,

Yes, too many of them! But there are always ways to reach out to others or lend at hand, such as via the computer :)
Have a beautiful Saturday!

My grandson is the one that keeps me grounded, he never stops so I have to keep up with him, if he don't grandma me 100 times per day then he don't call me at all, thats all I hear grandma grandma grandma lol, he is the sweetest little boy in the world, he love me so much, if I am feeling down he knows how to pull me up, what an amazing kid he is, I am truly blessed to have him, we dance together, sing, talk about a lot of things for him to be 6, he is my buddy I love him so much, words can not describe how much he means to me.
let me give you a Quick idea of how wonderful he is, one day I was in the hallway of my Moms apartment building he was 1 going on 2 at the time, so this older lady was coming down the stairs I said to him lets get out of the way so she could get down the stairs, he let go of my hand held his hand out so she could hold his hand and walk down the steps, how amazing is that, all we could say was awwww,' yes sir thats my baby' lol

Hi Kitty. Children are just the best thing in the world to calm one down or cheer one up. I think there is nothing as soothing to both child and adult as cuddling in a rocking chair. Your baby sounds so considerate already...bet that's a trait from gramma?? :)

Hi Karen!
If I am at home, I'll see to it that all tasks which come into my domain and jurisdiction get completed and I personally love to finish those tasks, like cleaning washbasines/tiles etc., gardening, watering plants, going to market and fetching daily need items and other sundry tasks. I do not love to sit idle. If I'm in office, I use all my energy and time to finish the assigned tasks, before the scheduled time and then if I find time I utislise my energy for mylotting.

Hi karen
I usually relax in prayer to have my spiritual side going.
I also play my bass and watch tv at the same time.
devour a book depending on my appetite.
I usually am tired before going to bed exhausting all my energy.
Have a nice day friend.

Hi Pat. I looked at the video from the discussion you posted on tapping. It DOES help. I am always looking for new ways to relax or reduce pain that do not require yet another pill or RX of any kind, so that was a blessing to find.

Hi Karen, there are a few things that I do.
1) Is I chant on a rosary, really calms me down.
2) Reading can help too
3) Surfing on the net and of course mylot
4) I go for a jog/walk/bike ride listening to my favorite happy music, takes away all excess physical energy.
5) I have three beautiful dogs and going for walk in the lovely countryside, looking at the horizon and the rocky hills helps too.
6) I also light a very mini fire, adding some burnable myrrh, the fire and the combination of the fragrance really helps to soothe frayed nerves.
7) Having long talk about God also helps.
There is no particular order of importance here, a mixture of all of these 'does' it for me.
