What lotion do you think is best for dry skin?

My daughter has horribly dry skin. What lotion have you tried that worked the best for dry skin? I've tried Cetaphil and that works very well. Any other suggestions?

she can use any lotion that has moisturizer. i can't give her specific brand because sometimes a lotion even with moisturizer doesn't match your skin. your skin gets oily or sticky. let her try and find out.

She's tried a few lotions and some irritate her skin. I had to change her soap too, as that was drying her skin too much. She loves lotion, so I'll just keep having her try them. Thanks for your post.

I like Aveeno. It works well for me. Lately, I've been scrubbing salt onto my hands (and also my arms and legs) with a little bit of water. It's been working great, so far, and I think I'm going to continue with it! I still use lotion at night and when I go out, though.

Salt? Interesting! Will have to try that. I tried an Aveeno bath product once and it irritated my skin, but I haven't tried the lotion. Not sure how my daughter will do with it. I will try a sample size and see if it's good for her. Thanks so much for your post.
