Would you rather receive roses or a different flower as gift from your loved one

My favorite flowers are sunflowers and gerbera daisies. So, I would rather get sunflowers, gerbera daisies, daisies or calla lillies as gifts then roses. Do you prefer roses or other flowers? Do you feel that roses are more romantic?

I am not really a fan of receiving flowers as gifts.don't get me wrong,I think flowers are pretty.it's just for me,it's not really practical receiving something that will wilt after 3-4 days.I would rather see lots of flowers in my garden.flowers like sunflower,carnation,daisies,and tulips are lovely.

In fact most flowers are beautiful. I don't mind my husband gives me another kind of flowers rather than roses. To me, it means the same. I still appreciate that he gives me flowers. But in fact my husband seems to give me roses only. Perhaps he thinks that roses stands for love and therefore he doesn't try another flower yet. I love China
