Death Note: What a way to kill criminals

I have watched this movie last year.

It is a really very nice movie with good storyline.

This movie also got really popular here last year and there are posters of it almost EVERYWHERE. Lol.

I used to watch that animae series about a couple years ago. It is a bit dark in nature because having your own demon to do kill anyone you wanted was something unusual.

"L" (not his real name) seemed to catch on to the pattern of the killings and realized that there was someone that always was around that knew or found out the names of the people that were killed. The twist in the story before "Light Yagami" was found out to be the user of the Shinigami or death note book is when the young popular girl, Misa had the eye. None the less "L' was not fooled, he knew there were two of them. You are right it isn't your normal detective story, but not many people in the US are ready to accept the supernatural as something used to produce crimes either.

know what, this movie is incredible, it is far different from any kind of action thriller movie, why? because this movie tell about war between good and evil while in each main character L and Yagami, there is no boundaries of good and evil, everything is judged by their own party, well until the end i still believe that yagami and ryuki is doing something good while L is the evil on:)

I liked the manga a lot better than I liked the movie.

I got into the Death Note manga series before it was adapted into an anime and the films. I actually cosplayed L a few years ago, ha ha. I think people like it because of the plot depth. The series itself is considerably short for anime and manga, but it is pretty thoroughly developed. Light/"Kira" is someone fans of the franchise love to hate. His ideas concerning death and justice are so skewed, but they also kind of reflect our own justice system. It's a series that makes people think about important issues.

Death Note? Pardon me but is that a new movie? I don't have a cable for my TV, poor me.. It sounds interesting..

im still planning to watch, i have the dvd here, i just need time to enjoy watching it... cant watch right now, huhuhu....

I have read the whole manga. It's fricking fantastic. The human mind was shown in such a maniacal crazed way which is 10 times better than any other fiction thriller. The story is good, the art is wonderful and the characters are unbelivable

I am at a loss to understand, why do we imagine such negative ideas about death etc. Even last night, there was a TV news, where they are trying to create a feeling that 2011-22 is very bad 'Earth will be more effected'. I know very well that death is ceratin, but why to imagine in advance. There are much better positive imagination available in this world. Let's remain positive.

I have not seen that movie yet, but if you're fond of watching that kind of film, i would like also to recommend to you to watch "Untraceable" by Diane Lane. It's a one helluva a modern and highly technical way of killing people using the web. Lane played a cop, who wants to take revenge for her friend (fellow officer) but was captured later by the killer and was set in the chamber of death..I have this idea of using this kind of execution to those proven corrupt government officials.lol.. I promise to watch the Death Note Series and to post my response later. Have a nice day friend.
