Do you think it is safe to use the herbal products by seening the ads ????

Here in the media we are seeing a lot of advertisement regarding the health products. There are tablets or powders for reducting and increasing the weight. Ther are advertisement for the Fatfree tablets which offers to reduce the fat within fifteen days. There is drops for healthy eyes, which to be used on a daily basis. This types of ads in the print and visual media are a lot and most of them are herbal and claims that there is no side effects. Can we trust these ads and use the powder for reducing or gaining weight , can we use the fat free tablets and can we use these drops daily in our eyes for a healthy eye and sight.

I think these companies play on our ignorance! For instance everything that says it is "fat free" may indeed be free of fat, but it does not mean it is healthy by any means! I like to do a lot of research before using over the counter pharmaceutical products. I notice you lumped all this in a "herbal" category, yet it was unlcear whether or not these products are actually herbal in nature. It is important to do research to become educated in these areas!

I am a natural person. I would not trust any adds that says you can loose weight in 15 days. How natural is this herbal pill. Do they not need to put some type of chemical in the product to preserve this herbal remedy. I think it is all a scam. To loose weight is to eat natural foods from all the major food groups. Exercise alot. The best that I know of is to drink alot of water. Water detoxify the body.It is better to drink the water warm. It burns calories faster. Happy lotting.

Hi...gossipz Thank you for your response in this discussion. I agree with you that to loose the weight there should be a well balanced diet and good exercise. it is very important that to drink a lot of water apart from the exercises and the balanced diets. Wish you many happy times ahead!!!
