why only one? when you can just asked it directly to the person who can answer it? probably because there's a lot of questions to be asked. and they prefer one question and get it at random on the box

I guess they are trying to keep the uproar to a squeek.....
We are going to be in a small civic center auditorium and since it was in the Springfiel...(big town 92 miles north) I am assuming some out of town people will be there.

I'm not sure there will be angry people there. It is possible.
We're a little different here.

It's kind of difficult when you have to decide what questions to ask in advance since there are bound to be more than one person with the same question. I guess I'd try to think of something I didn't think everyone else would also ask. What I'd like to know is why CAN'T they do as quite a few lawmakers and politicians have said at various times and make the same health plan members of Congress have available to everyone. This is the same plan all federal employees have and the reason it's more affordable and doesn't have the same restrictions such as for preexisting conditions is because it's such a huge group of subscribers. Everyone has a choice of a fair number of plans which varies according to where you live. The amount of the premium the employee is responsible for varies from plan to plan as do the copays and/or deductibles and what's covered and how much. It wouldn't be that difficult to set up, I don't think, and it would be possible to subsidize those who can't afford to pay all or some of the premium themselves.

I hadn't thought of that specifically...but I did wonder why we couldn't expand what we have now...and leave all the social engineering out of it. If people want counselling...let them ask for it and not force it on them.
I will be taking notes until the 30th...so keep them coming and send your friends! lol

I am thinking I would need some more information from you to give you any suggestions. As I can't see the discussion itself since I am going through my email and that is how I came to this discussion, I will apologize if you've already given more details.
A few questions I would need answered before I feel any valuable questions could be asked would be the following :
1. Do you live in a rural community?
2. Are there water restrictions constantly because of a drought?
If So : Ask if they can propose an idea that would allow water to be conserved and stored in case families need the water. Do research and have that ready in case the question comes to call.
I don't have any more ideas, sorry. All I can say is conservation and restoration! Do more of that!

Hey Cowgirl...our town has about 10,000 people. We do rely heavily on farming for our economy. But we are not short of water by anymeans...the last three years have seen plenty of rain.
This meeting will be held for the purpose of discussing the Healthcare bill. By a democrat...who has held some of the more calm townhall meetings.
I need question suggestions on the healthcare bill.
Thanks!
