Why are you afraid when you're alone?

Whenever we are alone, the tendency is for us to be afraid. I do admit I am afraid to face life alone so I always make sure that the people I am leaning on are doing well. I am not afraid to stay in a room, day or night but I am afraid to grow old alone. Tough search right now but I want to know why are we afraid when we are alone. Thanks in advance for sharing your opinions!

There are times when i tend to want to be alone... i used to be afraid to grow old alone... but now... i think i will be able to manage with that... i have a husband who works abroad and a 3 year old daughter that i take care of... i know that there will be a time when my daughter would leave the house and go on her own... i am not really afraid when that time happens...

Maybe at first it's normal that we fear without having someone to back us up whenever we have troubles or errands to finish. But as we go on with life and able to manage little by little our life, we are able to accept and say to ourselves, we can make it through life without any fear ahead. Hi leateagee,
Welcome back, long time no see. You will not end up alone, but I think most people fear that, as I am married I am not alone though I am alone at home most time as my hubby works from the afternoon till 11 at night, mind you he does gets under my feet for four days a week when he don't work and I do long for alone time, lol! make the most of you single life as you will be married in future with children, then you won't have a alone time at all.

He he he. Been busy lately. Thanks. Yp, it true that most people fear being alone specially when they grow old. Well, lucky you your hubby is there. lol! I'll stay positive that time, hoping sooner that I won't be alone anymore. Had been enjoying myself for sometimes. Take care always and happy every day!
