Unbelievable Job Post |
|
So, I was doing some job searching online when I noticed this one job post. It was someone asking for a nanny and while there's nothing wrong with that, it was the WAY they asked. They asked for a "God-fearing and loving woman" and later said "this individual must love God". This really irks me! Is someone who doesn't believe in God any less of a person just because they don't believe in God? Does that make them less trustworthy or something? What's up with that?? It's discrimination if you ask me! A religious person is not any better than a non-religious person just because they're religious!! Do you agree with me? If not, why don't you agree with me? What do you all think of this?

Poison_Girl (3319) | 5 months ago | They're not asking for a father. They're a married couple asking for a nanny/babysitter. I agree that there are good and bad of EVERY kind of person out there. To assume that only religious people are good is not only wrong, but a very bad idea.

Isn't only asking for a woman, descrimination too, since men can make good nannies too? I don't know what's wrong with some people. I would never answer such an ad, even though I am (some what of) a Christian woman.

Knowledge of religious stories goes under qualification, woman goes with comfort issues. The job post should have been written differently that is for sure.

4. homeshoppers (1136) | 5 months ago | lol, they just want to make sure that they will be getting a good nanny... by saying god fearing.. its their one way of saying that she will not do any bad things coz shes afraid of committing some.. thought the ads become over descriptive, i guess a god fearing woman is enough...

Poison_Girl (3319) | 4 months ago | But it's so easy to lie and claim that you're "God-fearing". Plus, it's not a guarantee that it'll be a good person. Know what I mean?
