PM, or profile?  | |  I have seen several people sending out referral links in two primary ways.
The first way is that they ask you to friend them, and they'll send you a message with the PTC or whatever site it is that they're telling you about in their post.
The second way is telling you about the site, and then saying that the "referral link is on my profile page." This is the approach that I take as well.
Which approach do you prefer? Which one do you like more? I prefer the profile link method, as it lets the discussion be able the site in question, rather than getting other myLotters to instead post a simple and rather plain, "send me the link". But, is there a benefit to doing it that way that I'm not seeing?

I was thinking more along the lines of those conversations you see here on myLot where, literally, all of the responses are basically saying, "Send me the link." I've written a few of those myself, regrettably. It's a waste of a post, and a waste of a discussion, if that's all that's being done. | |

| SomethingSea (166) | 5 months ago | A referral link is a link that contain a website wherein some service or product is had, that if you go to that website from their link, you sign up under them. For example, if you went to my profile and signed up for NeoBux from the link I provided, when you did your clicks, I would get the benefit of those clicks also (Neo's program has it so that I would, as a standard member, get $0.005 per click from you).
If you signed up from the NeoBux site - NeoBux.com, you would simply be signed up, under no-one; you might be assigned, but that's all. For this reason, there is a high motivation for the use of referral links (to make more money). Often, the motivation makes for spam. | |
