Stress is something which I believe is part of everybody's life. People do different things to avert or avoid it. I mostly go out for a long walk or if I am just stressed out and feel that I can do it then I would go out for a drive. It helps me to calm my nerves down. Some people just love to get some extra sleep, some to read a book or something, some would just do something that is unusual from their daily activities. So what do YOU do? What is your way to fight with stress. I dare say some people might mylot to avoid stress.

Everyone Has to find out what works best for them. With me you hit the nail on the head. I do go on MYlot at lunchtime (right now) and sometimes get in early in the morning to go on MYlot and block the stress from me. If I wake up in the night worrying about something at work that I had forgotten to do then I write down on a paper which I have right beside my bed. Once I have written it down then I know that I will not forget to do it in the morning when I reach work. sometimes i go on my patio outside in the dark and look at the moon and the stars and this helps me to realise how small my problem is in the scheme of things. We live for such a small time on this earth and our mission should be to know God, Love Him and serve Him by serving his people. This helps me to get things back into perspective again. As you know I work for a terrorist who does stress me out to the point where I become ill and my bp rises. But I think that I am dealing with him in a better way and trying not to let him get to me so much. The past 3 weeks have been wonderful as he has been away and then I will only see him for one day before I go on my vacation. I give thanks for that too!

Wow your thoughts are indeed magnificent, dear friend and I mean it. If I dare say something to what you said that this guy who really gives you a hard time is also a creature of the Lord so maybe it is His plan that way. I just remembered a short story let me share it with you. There was this brahmin (priest) in a small town, who was respected by one and all in the town. People used to come and seek advice from him they believed that this priest was wise and can guide a common man. One day it so happened that a person from the town met this priest and asked whether he could accompany the priest to his house for lunch. The Brahmin agreed readily. When they went to his house the wife of the priest welcomed them with this following words; "so here you come after BARKING. And who is this Dog accompanying you?" The fellow was surprised he couldn't imagine that someone could ridicule this saint in this fashion, so he couldn't keep the question back to him and asked what is the logic behind. The brahmin with a smile answered him "that it meant to be like this, In our previous birth I was a crow and this lady of mine was a donkey. I used to pluck the insects from her body which caused her pain, so I am now getting "it" back." This guy is going to suffer if he is troubling you. Have a wonderful vacation my dear friend. I really liked the thing you mentioned that you watch the moon and the stars and realize how infinitesimal we are in the scheme. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for your wise advise Bodhi. Yes, we are on this planet for such a short while and looking at the moon and the stars helps us to realise exactly what is important. Your story that you kindly told seemed simple but has many layers of meaning and I so appreciate it that you took the time to write it down for me. I am so looking forward to getting away for 10 days and hope to drop in a few times whilst on board. Take care and many blessings

Hello Friend. Im always under a lot of pressure. Stress is something hard to get rid of...we can only motivate ourself in doing something we enjoy. With me personally..i listen to music and close my eyes and let the music run down in my system. It relieves my stress.

I feel stressed everyday after work not only in a house but also outside work especially if I've to traveled in a long hours with traffic. I relieved stress after eating any kind of foods that will suit in my taste and stomach needs. After eating is rest while listening to music. Then take a deep sleep.

Nooooooooo, it is nothing to do with wierdness. Crying out lets you to just exhale your pent up frustrations. People do feel quite happy when they have a bitter cry. Just don t tell anyone that i do tend to cry too. Bodhi

Hello friend, I prefer to stay away from the crowd and would like to be alone listening to my favorite love songs, while doing some crafts like scrapbooking.Sometimes i want to be thankful when i am stressed, becoz,by that time i can do a lot of things to avoid being irritated that i engage myself for doing lot of things. When i am stressed,i can finish an album (my kids photo album)making scrapbook, and it even comes out more beautiful with lots of designs and decorations,it seems that my art imagination is working well when i am stressed(hahaha) Or,i clean every corner of my house, iron all the clothes from my closet,or even emptied my laundry bag

Hello friend, That is unique you prefer to indulge yourself into chores while stressed out. That I can never do. I just get so fatigued when I feel I am stressed. But its must be a good reason to divert your mind from the issue that is causing ripples in your harmony. Thank you so much for sharing, I must give it a try too.
