Athens is burning!  | |  A sad scene on television news shows the burning of Athens. Brings to mind a scenario from Iliad.. the burning of Troy. The Greeks had been one of the most admirable people civilization had produced. Be it in science, mathematics, sports, literature and the arts, I hold them on a pedestal. I also love their shores that seem to glisten with sparkles... and I only saw them in the movies such as Mama Mia, Troy, and the Traveling Pants... That is why I felt bad when the news reports something about the Parthenon and other cultural repositories being threatened by fire. Pray not.
