Phishing on FaceBook

I think that does not only apply to facebook but any other sites too.. hehe^_^ What's important is one must be careful in opening any sites, especially those which requires our username and password.. THus, instead of opening them from our address bar, it will be good to type in a new URL instead.. hehe

So far, nothing of the sort had happened to me yet, and thus i wont know.. BUT most likely i will be upset and disappointed.. Luckily for me, i dun have any account in any social networking site, and thus i'm free.. haha=D

Usually it should be pretty obvious if someone is trying to do that. There will be a somewhat suspicious link- like one of your Facebook friends will randomly send you a message or write on your wall but it doesn't sound like them and they send the same thing to many people. There will be a link, which might take you a page that looks like Facebook asking you to log-in, but if you look in the URL you will see that it is actually a different website. If on that page you enter your e-mail address and password, you have just given out your log-in information so someone now has access to your account. So to avoid this, just don't click suspicious links from people and make sure you only submit your log-in details on the real Facebook website.

I often got an error id/ password when login into facebook account, but I'm sure id and password that I enter is correct. I do not understand why why it could happen.

I have got it also, but on Paypal. But before login I have discovered that its Web design seems different than the real ones, so I was not login on there, I started to clear my cookies and everything, and started it from beginning. And now just done.
