Are you still using dial-up connection?

If webpages were a bit more economical with their size. Unfortunately today Web designers seem to add as much as possible and do not consider the fact that there are in fact a large number of dial-up users still today.

You are lucky to get unlimited usage, here in North America there is usually a cap on the bandwidth.

I actually have a cheap dial up as a backup which I rarely use, however if I did not spend so much time on the Internet dial-up would be adequate for me.

I am using Tata indicom photon + broad band connection for internet. Its speed is really good. Earlier I was boring with dial up connection but now a days I am happy with internet connection. It is costly but satisfictory.Generally I use internet for downloading study material and work for earning money.

I use 3G or 3.5G wireless connection and I satisfied with this kind of connection and for my opinion this is very fast connection.

for dial-up connection use sometimes if my 3G connection find some trouble.

Dial-up connection really sucks nowadays. I am recently using broadband connection.

Currently i'm using wireless broadband internet access. I have two kinds of such plan. One is volume based and another one is duration based. I prefer to use my volume based because it is faster than duration based. But sometimes i use my duration based broadband to safe my volume based's bandwidth. It's been a long time since my last time using dial-up connection. As i can remember, last time i used dial-up connection is 2002 on my own home and 2003 on my office at that moment. Now, i also have broadband internet on my current office. I think everything is broadband now. I don't think a dial-up connection is good enough for handle recent internet technology such as video streaming, etc. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

I'm into DSL too but my modem is still hooked up to my phone just in case my DSL has a problem and I'm in desperate need to connect to the internet. It has occur to me a few times ago and a prepaid dialup card is surely handy at times.

I have used ADSL for about 6 years, it's really better than dial-up connection.
Except the speed, data flow rate, I also can be online all the time, while calling or answering the phone whenever. I don't know how about yours, dear mylotters?

Dail-up connection just remind me a interesting issue in that times. Once my cousin and I surfed on internet by dail-up connection at home. But suddenly, we found we was off-line frequently. One minute, online; the next minute, off-line. How aweful! And we wondered what happened till her dad came back home. Once he steped into house, he asked, "What did happened? I was trying to call home just now, but the line was always busy." Haha, everything was clear. He was trying to call home again and again, while we were trying to dial-up again and again. And both of these two sides didn't work.

No I am not using a dial-up connection anymore, I just think that it is just too slow these days. I mean you could definitely send emails and other things using the dial-up connection, but that would probably be about it. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!
