which company do you think makes the best quality laptops?

I think Apple seem quite good. I myself have got a dell, as have the whole of my family. I dont think they are THAT good. Ive had a few problems with mine personally. I need a new battery for my laptop but they are very expensive so im just having to survive without one at the moment and keep it plugged in constantly, this is very annoying but i cant afford it at the moment!

I Don't know what's best to the world, but for me my lapotop is the best. I use a LG laptop, hence LG Laptops are the Beast!!

i think asus n compaq are good... stylish and strong. my self using compaq and it is already 3 yers now and still smooth

We are having both hp as well as dell in our home. But I feel HP is better in many cases. The compact design, the cheaper price, extreme customer support, variety of models, easy availability,enormous features in most of the recent models etc can be said as the merits of HP. Also it has its own demerits. Overheating is the major drawback in case of hp laptops and we should use essentially a cooling pad if we are about to use the system for more hours. But the others are not getting that much of hot. But all the brands are coming with the necessary configuration.

Now that's a difficult question you asked....Today's laptops are so competitive in price and quality that it's real difficult to say which one is THE BEST. But ever since I came across laptops I knew Toshiba to be a very quality producer. I still carry this belief and always take a sneak peek at Toshiba prices wherever I see them. In fact laptops vary in quality on the basis of models. Model X of Toshiba may be better than Model Y of Acer but worse than Model Z of the same.....I think the case is somewhat like this.

i think sony makes the best laptops.i like sony vaio more than any other laptop.now sony vaio has come up with its new range of laptops specilly i like pocket pc,s.for me sony is first choice but next to sony i like apple mac loptops.

i have been using acer, dell, hp & many more since i worked as a computer technician about a year ago.. honestly i think hp is the best laptop.. i have been using acer the first laptop i used before.. the combo drive is damage after one year used.. it can only read cd only.. then i used dell but i not used to the function & the troubleshoot software is hard to use.. now i use hp & it seem i can go with it for a long time.. i like the performance of hp laptops & the support is very cool too.. when you lose driver it is easy to find than other brands..

I've always thought of Dell PCs and laptops to be bad. Dell sells them cheaper, yes, but that reflects their product, too. Cheap product for cheap cost. A friend's new Dell got busted in half a year. My sister's laptop is so slow and gets the blue screen. I've reformatted the hard drive a lot. Maybe it needs a new hard drive or RAM.

I'd go for Compaq.

Apple. You get what you pay for though. Value for money is definitely Dell or Asus

I would vote for Toshiba and Hp laptops because of their design and quality of their products so far I have only few complaints with the two brands based of on jobs as technician.
