Do you buy the vitamins that provide 100% of the daily diet or do you buy the once that provide more that 100%. I'm asking because by mistake I ended up buying vitamins that provided 200% of the daily diet and I ended up getting sick. | | | |

| | I go twice a year to a natural practitioner that takes blood and checks as to what vitamins, and minerals that i am lacking, and those are the ones that i take. That way i know what my body needs. and sometimes what i need is more than the recommended daily allowance for them, so i take more. and if you are taking synthetic vitamins you are not doing yourself any good. | | | |

| | Good point. Now that I think of it my diet consists of very little protein. I don't eat a lot of meat or fish. I eat a lot of pasta and salad but very little meat and fish. I will have to check which vegetables are a good source for protein. | | | |

B12 would be one,and I take 4 supplements that keep out the dreaded arthritis that runs in my family. When I drop these things I have pain in my knees in particular. Does this mean you are also eating raw meat, I can understand raw fish and I do like raw fish but raw beef I'm not sure about it. I think the French eat raw beef but with eating raw beef don't you have to be really careful I thought if beef is not 100% fresh you can get sick well much more so with pork then beef. | | | |
