I believe you guys have heard about H1N1 disease and how fast it has spread over the whole. I am bit scary when I came across this disease and to play safe, it is better to stay indoor most of the time.Avoid going to public place like park or cinema. Just step out from home whenever is necessary. Since this disease are spreading fast, I seldom bring my son out for any outdoor activities,so most of the time we spend our quality time at home.Doing some fun activities, watch TV together, read story book and do colouring. Let's share your thinking here.Any precaution you have taken due to H1N1??

Hi there shia88, I think this H1N1 has freaked most of us. I used to bring my boy out to the playground every evening. But since this outbreak, he has not been to the playground around 2 months now. It is such a pity to see him cooped in at home. But I do let him run around in the porch in the evenings. I was also suppose to start him on playschool but decided against it too. It is better safe than sorry. Play school can wait until this H1N1 is more in control..

Yeah, every one in my place here is so worry about the H1N1 outbreak too. Now we not only have stay at home mom, we have stay at home kids too, LOL. My 2 kids here have not going out from the house for more than few weeks already, pity to see them can only run and play around at home. But still once a week we need to go visit my parent in laws.

I also used to bring my son to supermarket every weekend and it has been a month that he stay at home all the time. The most if he make noises, just bring him round round sit inside the car. That's more safer. I am worried about getting my son for school next year..more germs in school. But then when it comes to the time for our kid to go school, we can't just stop it.

Somehow, we humans are not born to being cooped in at home. Sooner or later, people will go out again. I've gone out several times though I must say it is much less compared to how frequent I went out last time.

shia88, I think lots and lots of people are in the state of your mind now.. being worry on the outbreak of this matter.. and that's include myself too! However, after sitting at home for more than 2 weeks, I don't think I can take it any further, I took my girl out for a stroll in the nearby mall on a weekday afternoon.. to my surprise, the parking lots are all FULL!! I don't know if our mentality to stay home has made more people to decide going out all thinking it should be safe.. I do see lots of people with mask.. but if you understand this virus, we all should be wearing gloves and not mask since this virus is not air borne.. :p I just don't simply touch anything, while I was walking and keep my child hand away from anything..

My place is also the same...supermarket parking lots are full house every weekend especially this Merdeka Sales....so many people crazy shopping. For me, I will do my own shopping without my boy. He will be at home with his dadddy.I still feel unsafe to bring my son out for a walk.

I have tried to avoid crowded places with lots of people cause it lowers your chances of getting the virus.

Hi David, I am doing the same thing like yours.Avoid crowded places and stay indoor most of the times. Especially with a small kid at my side, I seldom bring my son out nowadays. If I bring my son out, I will get ready hand sanitizer & wet tissue in my car. and Once reach home, I will wash both of his hands, and change his clothes too.
