I just rented a copy of Wall-E and I've realised that all the robots pretty much only communicate with body language and tone of voice. Haha (: Personally, while some people may go on about the artistic side of having this, and of how this will be able to appeal to audiences anywhere in the world, I felt a tad ripped off by this (: I've grown so accustomed to watching movies with speech, that it just felt like a whole different league for me to watch :3
What did you feel when you realised Wall-E didn't have a language? (: Share your stories here, and I'll catch you guys later.

Well, I loved it. It was the technique the director Andrew Stanton chose. Unlike Space Odyssesy, it works out.
It is not neccesarily artistic value, it is really to show the sort of relationship WALL-E has with EVE. No cliches "I looovvvee you!" Action speaks louder than words.
When I knew he was going to communicate unconventionally... I understood him, the character warmed up to me, the character won me over, that's what matters.
