Have you ever had something wonderful to come out of something you perceived bad |
|
Hello friends, have you ever had something wonderful to come out of something which you perceived as bad. Today I had something wonderful to blossom forth from something bad. It was so beautiful that it brought tears to my eyes. Presently I can only look back and be thankful for the bad because without it I would have never been able to experience the good .So what wonderful thing have you had to come out of something that was perceived as bad?

1. The_Lamb_Lies_Down (2976) | 4 months ago | I have had several really good friendships here that blossomed from bad beginnings. In fact, a few of my best friends here I met when we were diametrically opposed on a few issues, and the words flew hot and fast. After the fire died down, we began discussing other things, and found we really weren't as different from each other as we thought we were.

Citychic (1992) | 4 months ago | yeah I think that might be what happened between you and I Lamb, thanks for responding, I feel like we just got off to a bad start and just maybe we can mend fences and move on from here. What do you say? I don't have time to be here online making enemies with you nor with anyone else. Also deep down I always thought that you were a good person. Some people may try to tell you lies concerning what my true intentions were when I posted the first discussion concerning "Weird discussions" but they don't know what was really going on inside of my head because they are not me. They can only try to guess at it. Anyhow so far I've been able to gain at least two wonderful friendships and I really have to kind of thank you for that. Because if this whole thing hadn't of erupted then I may not have ever run into these other two. Anyhow let me know if you'd like to try and become friendlier then we'll take it from there, okay? Happy mylot!

3. psycospaz (199) | 4 months ago | I have had some really great things happen from some not so great situations. I grabbed my car during a time that I had no money and my old car broke down right in front of a mechanic shop that was willing to trade my car that I couldn't afford to fix for the one that only need a few little things that I could afford. And I love my new car a lot more than my old one.
Some of my best friends came out of the worst fights.
I know there have been a ton more, because that is how my life seems to work. LOL I guess it's Karma!

psycospaz (199) | 4 months ago | It is really funny how things work out, but they always seem to work out no matter how hard or nasty life seems to be. I have pulled my self and my life out of some pretty hairy situations that I look back on now and wonder how I even survived in the first place.

Citychic (1992) | 4 months ago | Sure, I've heard of this same thing that happened to a friend of mine. It's good that you no longer have to be concerned with the stress of the entire ordeal. Then once things are right again you will get an even better car. Take care and enjoy the peaceful times while they are here............. Happy mylot!

I am sure it has happened, but I can't bring it to mind at the moment. It isn't the situation that is good or bad, it is your opinion of the situation.

6. zoey7879 (1254) | 4 months ago | Yes, during the last few days actually.
I had told an old boyfriend that if his latest crush wants to know how I am doing, she should come to me and ask me, maybe even get to know me, instead of asking my friends how I am, and worrying about what I do with my friends. It made my ex mad, he ended our friendship and has been causing problems since.
And it hurts, yeah, but in the end, I don't need that kind of bullcrap in my life, and need be stressed out worrying about my friend's interest in constantly surrounding himself with people that act like his girlfriend was. In fact, it prompted me to finally cut all of the troublesome people and fair-weather friends out of my life all together. Every last one of them. So I've taken that hurt and anger and flipped around into motivation. (=

Citychic (1992) | 4 months ago | Good for you Zoey, it sounds like you are growing in leaps and bounds. I know it can really be hard when we cut disfunctional people otu of our lives but if they are only dragging us down instead of up, I say go for it! Happy mylot!

Citychic (1992) | 4 months ago | That is a great story my friend, I'm glad that you shared it with us. I guess that's pretty darn close to what I was thinking when I asked the question in the discussion of "have you ever had something good to come out of something that was bad" rather that was perceived as bad. I gotta admit that you handled yourself really well under the circumstances. I'm sure that most people would have been ready to pack it all in and to run back home. But not you my friend. You stuck it out, which led you to have a very good friend. This whole thing remind me of something that I'm going through now. I've been sticking it out for over ten years now, living in a place that I'm not particularly fond of. But doing the best I can to make it home. The good thing is that even though I'm not particularly fond of it, most of my family members like it here. So hopefully in the end something good will come out of it. Anyways, thanks for sharing your story, it was great and I'm glad you had a happy ending! Happy mylot!
