yeah, most of the time. i know it's against our Media and Television Regulatory Commission. but it's cheap and most are of good quality. am not sure about buying the original but since in the Pirated DVD, you got to have more than just one movie in that DVD..

What I cannot understand is why the movie industry charge so much for a DVD? I've seen some priced at over $21, they say that the movie indutry is losing billions of dollars due to pirated DVDs...Well they have only themselves to blame for that by the prices they charge. I know I would rather make 50 million dollars than nothing at all. There is one way to stop the people making billions by selling pirated DVDs and thats to sell DVDs at the same price as the Pirates, Most people don't want or like paying up to $21 for a DVD that most probably they will want once or twice at he most, they don't like throwing money away, but they don't mind paying $3. The movie industry get all their costs back from showing their film at the movies, so DVDs are just the icing on the cake...A bonus if you like... When you count up the world population and say 4 out of 10 people would buy a DVD at $3 then you are talking about billions of dollars, So you come to the conclusion that the movie companies are being very greedy....the film 'Inception' took over 43 and a half million in one weekend in just a 100 cinema's in the USA and that more than covers the cost of making it... When you think of all the other countries then you are talking billions!! So come on you film companies, use your sense $3 a DVD is a fair price to pay for a product that has already been seen by millions of people before it becomes a DVD....How many used cars would you sell if you still charged the same price as a new one??

in as much as we're not supposed to, i do buy pirated dvds. it is way much cheaper than the original ones, and you get the same quality for a portion of the price. i feel guilty though.. but can i help it if I can't afford the real ones?

yah tagalog movies are cinema copy because its dark and u can see shadows of the viewers. hehehe... i wait for the original copy to come out that means that the pirated version has the original quality video too (dvd copy). cant help it, if i pass by the vendors, i go check out the new movies. so tempting. thanks for dropping and happy mylotting to all!

I don't make a habit of buying pirate copies, mainly because in the past when I bought them the quality is really bad. I would rather not watch a movie that is bad quality than watch it at all. It's just a waste of my money. I would rather pay the same amount of money to rent out a DVD so that at least I know what I am getting.

Yes because, it is the most cheapest in terms of watching dvd, and it is also clear and no problem in viewing, mostly in the past years, but now we borrow in the student and co worker of my father and sometimes in our relatives

i also buy pirated dvd coz they are cheaper.. but i only buy those a year old dvd movie coz the copy is clear than those newly released. most of the time i bought 24 in 1 dvd.. i tried to buy one newly released dvd for harry potter, if you didnt watch harry potter in theater you can really tell that the dvd copy was already clear but since i also watched it in theater i can see the difference... original copy is still the best and clear.. you can see everything in details and the audio is perfect... the pirated might be clear but there are some details that is not coz its dark and the audio is not that good.. now i'd rather watch movie online coz they looks like from pirated dvd too lol.. no need to buy some..
