1. Think about what subject you will be writing about.
2. Does this subject have a vast amount of competitors? If yes, choose another. Unless you want only a handful of visitors a week. 4. Create some content. Two saved messages and a few drafts are fine. Drafts are important for when you don't have much time to create some content. Updating your blog regularly is absolute key. Make sure you use your keywords, this is important seo-wise.
5. Go get yourself some backlinks. Backlinks are simply links pointing to your website. They mostly come with anchor text which is basically clickable text. Make sure this anchor text is named after one of your keywords. Don't put too much attention on one keyword and make sure you comment on other blogs close to your subject. The closer, the more authority that site has on your subject and thus the more link value your backlink has.
