Could the dog replace men to be the best companion for women?

I once read a lot of stories about dogs and women. It's said that some women are very fond of dogs and they think that dogs are always loyal to them while men would cheat and betray them . Especially those women whose heart were broken by cruel men . Since then they wouldn't trust men any longer . They live with their dogs and keep dogs as the best companion . Have you met such women ? Please share your opinion.

Dogs are after all the perfect companion to women. Besides being adorable they are trustworthy, loyal beings. They want love, which women like to give, and they return love to their owner. It is an ideal situation in which a woman can display her natural instincts while receiving almost everything she requires: companionship, doting love and affection, constant connections/interactions and all this without the worry. Every expectation is met.

Dog's cannot replace a real MAN in her life. Come on guys.. Theres lot's of things a MAN a real one for that matter can do that Dog's cannot. Let's just leave it there.. I love dog's and I have 3 of them.. They eat with me. I bathe them, Brush there teeth, Play with them, Jog with them and so on... So that my lady will be pleased and ill get some tonight... (^_^)

though I haven't met one,I can't blame these women.after all,getting hurt by someone you loved dearly is very painful.dogs are really loyal and will even give up their own life to protect their masters.so...if I won't get married,I prefer having lots of dogs.you get to have something to love you without hurting you.also,dogs' needs are very simple:food,shelter,exercise,and love.no need to deal with somebody else's moods or habits.
